    Smart Taxi is a new service in the Middle-East that aims to improve and optimize the taxi user experience. this application allows users to get accredited licensed taxis in only two clicks on their smart phones.
  • How does it work?
    By using Geo-localization tools, we scan for the nearest available taxi in the user’s position, we book the taxi and send it to the selected pick-up location.
  • Where does it work?
    Our aim is to cover most of the Major cities in the Middle-East. Today we have started in Beirut - Lebanon, and soon in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.
  • What smart phones can be used?
    Smart Taxi works on all iOS 4.3 or later and Android 2.2 or later.
  • Does it work on PC, Mac, tablets & Pads?
    Smart Taxi works only on devices with GPS features since it needs to pinpoint user’s exact location; it needs to use the GPS on the smart phones or tablets.

    Smart taxi is 100% Free of charge; just download it on your phone and start using it.

    All of the Smart Taxi drivers are licensed and accredited.
  • Why should I register?
    By registering to Smart Taxi, you will enable the taxi driver to contact you after he accepts your request. / By registering to Smart Taxi, you will help us reduce spammers and miss-use of the app in order for us to be able to provide you with the best quality of service.

  • Who will see my number?

  • Can I track the Taxi I requested?
    Smart Taxi allows you to monitor the taxi’s progress in real time on the map.
  • Can I call the taxi driver if needed?
    In case you need to, just click on the call icon located on the Right-Top of your screen next to the taxi details
  • What is “My Smart Taxi”?
    “My Smart Taxi” is a unique feature that allows you to change your selected language, invite your friend to use Smart Taxi, go to the help section, but most importantly check the “My Smart Trip” section.
  • What is “My Smart Trips History”?
    My Smart Trip History is a Log Register, where you will find all of your previously booked trips, with all of the details of the taxis you booked. This can allow you to call back the specific taxi driver of a specific trip.
  • I like this app, how can I tell my friends?
    It is as simple as requesting a taxi, just go to “My smart taxi”, and select the “Invite a friend” function, this will take you directly to your phone book where you can select the friends you want to invite.
  • How can I change language?
    Just Press on the “My tools” button on the bottom of your screen, a page will open where you find Language Menu / Press on the Language menu and select the language you want
  • How can I contact Smart Taxi?
    You can always contact our “Costumer Support Center” for any inquiry or problem. You just have to go to My Settings (on the bottom of your screen), select “About Us” and push on “Contact Us” icon.
  • Why do I have to confirm my pick-up location?
    The GPS on your smart phone will identify your location, Smart Taxi allows you to select a different pick-up point where should you desire to, for example if you were inside a university or a compound campus and you want your taxi to pick you up at the gate.
  • How long do I have to wait to get a taxi?
    After you placed your request, our smart app will scan for available taxis in your direct surrounding area, then it will book the nearest available one to you… Therefore the waiting period should not exceed few minutes.
  • NO taxi nearby! What will happen?
    In case there were no available taxis in your immediate area, Smart Taxi will broaden the scan search area and will book you the nearest taxi, you will be notified of the approximate ETA.
  • How do I know my taxi is near?
    By allowing Smart Taxi to send you push notifications, we will be able to notify you when your taxi is “1 minute” away (approximately 500 meters).
  • How do I know my taxi has arrived?
    By allowing Smart Taxi to send you push notifications, we will be able to notify you at the exact moment your taxi has arrived.
  • If I'm late, how long will the taxi wait for me?
    The taxi will wait for 4 minutes after he arrives. In case you have more delay, please use the call icon to tell your driver to wait more.
  • Can I cancel my request?
    In case you need to, you can cancel your request at any time prior to the taxi arrival by clicking on the “cancel request” on the bottom of your screen.
  • Can I change my pick up location?
    In case you had to change your position, please cancel the request and place a new one, or simply call the driver and inform him of your new pick-up location if it’s near the original one.
  • I cannot find my taxi, what do I do?
    In case you don’t find your taxi, please use the calling icon on the top left of your screen.
  • My Smart Taxi app cannot locate me
    If the app cannot pinpoint your location, please go to the settings of your smart phone and make sure you have your Location Services turned On for Smart Taxi.Also, Smart Taxi app uses geo-localization tools to pinpoint your location. It’s not necessary to have wifi switched on, but if you do, we’ll be able to find your location much more accurately.
  • My Smart Taxi app is not working, what to do?
    Like most other devices, usually you just need to turn off your smart phone and then turn it On back. If the problem persists, please try to Uninstall and then Reinstall the app / You could always send us a notification by using the Contact us function.
  • Please Select Language
    When you start the application for the first time a message pops up asking you to select the language of the application
  • There is no internet connectivity.
    Since Smart Taxi requires internet, if you start your application without internet connectivity, a message pops up asking you to go to settings and enable Data or WiFi. You will have two options, / to go to settings and enable connectivity or exit application
  • We are not able to find your location
    Since Smart Taxi requires your location, if you start application without GPS on, a message pops up asking you to enable GPS services. You will have two options, / To go to settings to enable GPS or Exit application
  • City not covered
    If you start Smart Taxi in a city not covered yet by our services, a message pops up informing you of that.
  • Please locate your pick-up location
    When you start Smart Taxi, you will have to select your desired pick-up application
  • No taxi available
    After you place your request, Smart Taxi will scan your area for available taxi, should there be no taxi, a message pops up apologizing and asking you to place a new request later
  • Request submitted to 5 taxi
    Smart Taxi will submit your request 5 times at a roll to 5 different taxis in your area, should no taxi accept your request, a message pops up asking you to place a new order later
  • Taxi 1 min away
    When your taxi is nearby your pick-up location, you will receive a message asking you to get ready
  • Taxi arrived
    When your taxi arrives at pick-up location, you will receive a message informing you of his arrival and asking you to call him should you not find him
  • Taxi waiting
    If your taxi has arrived and waiting for you for 4 minutes, you will receive a message asking you if you want him to wait or cancel your request
